Manual Access rooflight is the ideal choice if you require less frequent access to a flat roof space for maintenance purposes. Opened and closed using two handles mounted on the lid frame. Additionally, user assisted gas struts and springs are mounted within the frame. The minimum upstand pitch required is 3°, and the maximum upstand pitch is 10°. Maximum full travel opening to 75°. Unlike the electric version it cannot be partially opened so is not designed to act as a ventilation rooflight
Consisting of polyamide thermal breaks and closed cell PIR insulation thermally isolating the inner and outer frame sections. Consequently this results in robust, long lasting, thermally broken aluminium sections. Assured structural integrity through the use of finite element analysis (FEA) and testing. Similarly sealing between the base frame and the lid frame is achieved by using a combination of silicone bubble and blade seals.
Designed with security as a priority. Locked by a centrally mounted rotating handle and supplied with a key. Mechanically fixed to the lid at the two opening corners. Your products will be delivered to your chosen site within 3 to 5 working days from the date of order, unless your order is made to order.
Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you have carried out an extensive risk assessment regarding the product weight and methods of transportation. Please ensure that you have the correct lifting equipment on site to move the product from the delivery vehicle.
Please note that rooflights.com must be notified, in advance, if narrow or restricted roads surrounding your property may impact the delivery of your goods. If no one is available at your address to take delivery, we will leave you a note that the Products have been returned to the manufacturer, in which case, please contact us to rearrange delivery. Missed or rearranged deliveries may incur further costs.
For insurance reasons we cannot deliver your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it, if no one is available to sign for delivery the consignment will be returned to the manufacturer. Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions and if the product need to be returned to the manufacturer.
