What is CE marking?
CE marking is the abbreviation of the French phrase “Conformité Européene” which literally means “European Conformity”. The letters ‘CE’ can be seen on many products and by placing the CE marking on a product the manufacturer is declaring, on their sole responsibility, to confirm with all legal requirements to achieve the CE marketing. These products meet EU health and safety, or environmental requirements.
