What is a U-value?
A U-value measures how effective a material is as an insulator. The lower the U-value of your rooflight, the better it is, as a heat insulator. When installing your rooflight into your home, you will notice the U-value is lower for the triple glazed options than the double glazed. Therefore, the triple glazed option will provide you with better insulation and reduced heat losses.
