  • Nickel sulphide inclusion is a natural occurrence in glass where tiny particles of metal are still present in the glass and when rapidly heated, either by internal heating or direct sunlight, the heated particles vibrate causing potential glass breakages. Visually you will not be able to see these tiny particles but by performing a heat soak test prior to releasing all rooflights, it is said that the risk of spontaneous failure is reduced by up to 99%.
